Privacy Policy

Version 2026-08-24 · Effective August 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Austin Keith, an individual sole proprietor, operator of MidtownDogDad Business Solutions (the “Platform”), handles information in connection with the Platform. The operator is responsible for the Platform processing described here. Subscribing animal-care providers choose the business, staff, client, animal, scheduling, service, and care information they enter and the people they authorize to use their accounts. Their responsibilities may depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

Information and where it comes from

Why information is used

Information is used to provide and support the Platform; administer accounts and access; support animal-care operations; provide location, route, and weather features; deliver transactional communications; administer subscriptions; maintain reliability; prevent abuse and protect security; comply with legal obligations; and protect rights.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be based on a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in proportionate security, reliability, and support, compliance with a legal obligation, or consent where the law requires it.

Service providers and other recipients

Amazon Web Services

Amazon Web Services provides infrastructure used for hosting, databases, object storage, queues and cache, logging, backups, and deployed billing infrastructure. Depending on the feature used, this infrastructure may process application, account, client, animal, scheduling, care, session, upload, billing, and operational-log information. Primary application hosting and storage are selected in the United States. AWS describes its privacy practices in its Data Privacy FAQ.

Google Maps Platform

Google Maps Platform supports address and place searches, map and route features, and related location workflows. Google may receive searches, coordinates, route endpoints, IP addresses, and request information for these features. Google handles covered data under the Google Privacy Policy, Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms, and applicable controller terms.

Google reCAPTCHA

Google reCAPTCHA helps protect forms and accounts from fraud and abuse. It may process device, browser, network, and security signals and use the necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie for risk analysis. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.

Twilio SendGrid

Twilio SendGrid provides configured transactional email delivery. It may process recipient and sender addresses, email subject and body content, attachment content, and delivery metadata. Twilio describes its practices in its Privacy Notice and related service terms.

National Weather Service

The Platform uses the U.S. National Weather Service as a government weather-data service. The Platform sends rounded coordinates and server request metadata for weather requests; it does not send the end user’s exact address or direct browser IP address to NWS for this purpose. NWS describes its request logging and government-record practices in its Privacy Policy.

Paddle

If Paddle checkout is made available, Paddle acts as the authorized reseller and merchant of record for Paddle transactions and as an independent controller for its buyer processing. Paddle handles payment, tax, order, fraud-prevention, and subscription information under its Privacy Policy and Buyer Terms. The Platform receives only the bounded order, subscription, and transaction facts needed for fulfillment and administration.

Retention

Information is retained while needed to provide the Platform and afterward where needed for security, disputes, legal obligations, and approved record schedules. Immutable consent, audit, and accounting facts may be retained as required by those schedules. Backups are maintained and expire through separate backup controls, so removal from active systems may not mean immediate physical removal from every backup. A subscribing provider may also retain information under its own notices and obligations.

International processing

MidtownDogDad Business Solutions is operated in the United States, and its primary AWS deployment is in the United States. Google, Twilio SendGrid, Paddle, and their subprocessors may process information in other countries identified in their notices or terms. Where required, applicable contractual or statutory transfer safeguards apply.

Privacy requests

Privacy rights depend on the jurisdiction and circumstances. The operator may verify identity and authority before acting on a request, and a request may be limited where applicable law permits or requires. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions, email support@midtowndogdad.com. Requests concerning information controlled by Paddle should also be directed through Paddle’s own privacy channels.

Changes to this policy

Each revision is published as a new immutable version. Reasonable advance email or in-product notice will be provided where required or practicable for a material change, such as a new purpose or recipient class, a material data category or rights limitation, or materially longer retention. New acknowledgements apply to the exact policy versions presented at that time; prior acknowledgements remain associated with the versions originally recorded.
